Wife and I took a drive this weekend - Photo Op of car

as far as were hmmm snoqualmi falls or something or ocean shores i dono lol i lived in Kirkland and i hate Washington and its rain and its overcast

I hear you on the chrome mirrors. Left over from the previous owner. I am going to buy some powered black ones or buy the replacements from the dealer. My paint code I guess is an odd one and they are special order and not cheap.

The good news is that the chrome mirror caps and door handle cups are just taped over the factory pieces. You just need some elbow grease to remove them and clean off the residue.
No clue where the photos were taken!

You may be right about the door handle inserts but the mirror caps are not taped over. The previous owner either had the stock ones chromed or bought replacement caps for the car. I am thinking they got the original ones chromed.

Most likely he bought a replacement mirror piece as it's not very common to just dip plastic auto parts in chrome.
If I were you though, I'd try out something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber...1dc6d0&vxp=mtr
