AMG Floor Mats

I'm looking for some carpeted floor mats for my W211 E63. Does anyone know if the E55 mats have the same dimensions as the E63? I wouldn't think there were any changes but you never know.

I don't know why the E55 mats cost about $125 and the E63 mats cost $400. No way I'm paying $400 for some carpet mats.

Someone here can get you the E63 Mats from Mercedes for $250 they said.

I just bought a set of mats off eBay for my E63. Black with the AMG logo on the front two mats. (Obviously not OEM.) They should arrive tomorrow, so I'll let you know how they look. They were $62 with free shipping. Could be total poo, but we'll see.

Dude you got took. Those mats are cheap imitations and have been spoken of very badly here.

Denroll 02-27-2013 05:14 PM

I have those mats and they do indeed suck balls. They are better than nothing, which is what was in my car when I got it, but they don't hold up well. Mine didn't mount to the anchors and the plastic parts that were supposed to just popped right out of the carpet. The spikes on the bottom are weak and don't keep the mat from moving around. Also, my heel has worn a hole almost completely through the mat.

I would install these mats in my worst enemy's car.

Theres a guy i know who custom makes mats in Washington State
Hes a vendor on the RX7club.com and i know he makes other makes and models
Heres a example of his work here....

Hard to see but he did a custom serge border with logo. the mats are rubber back with the feet on it. Very high quality

I bought similar to this..

^^ Looks nice...I'll take a set with Red AMG :)

Have you guys tried Jerry @ http://www.formymercedes.com/mb.asp who is one of this forum's sponsors... I am not sure of the pricing but he does custom mats & is a real easy guy to deal with.

E63//AMG 02-27-2013 06:45 PM

^ I am familiar with the eBay AMG mats, they are junk.

The mats for $250 weren't the $400 ones for the E63. I spoke to him, they are the E55 mats and overpriced!

Once again, I am not looking for cheap mats, expensive mats, or custom made mats.

I simply wanted to know if the E55 and E63 mats are similar or even identical in size. I think the floor and foot area remained the same.

Oh--guess I should've done a search! Well, the mats that are in the car now are not even E63 mats, as they have a carpeted portion that covers the dead pedal and flops around, so these new ones will be better than nothing (I hope).

^ The standard E class mats have the section that covers the pedal. I pulled the trigger on E55 mats. I will report back if they fit and work on the E63. They were $105 shipped, brand new and OEM from the dealer.

WOW. The stealer here quoted 700 bucks for the OEM mats.

Getting mine detailed now and looks like the floormats have had it. Also in the market for a fresh solution.

ES EF ED 03-06-2013 01:38 AM

I've had 3 oem sets, 2 from a 07+ w211 and the oem that came with my 05 e55, no difference in size only difference on the non-amg is that it has a extra part that covers the foot rest on the driver side.

I'm guessing the e63 mats cost more than the e55 mats cause the rear mats on the e63 also have the AMG logo embroidered in them. If you want me to post pics just let me know.

ahhhchu 03-06-2013 04:35 AM

I actually bought the 08 CLS63 floor mats for my 07 W211 E63. They have the AMG logo on the driver's and passenger side. They are a perfect fit.

E63//AMG 03-07-2013 08:57 PM

So I got my mats today. As you may remember I ordered mats from a W211 E55 (Part # BQ6680580). These are no longer available and have been replaced by Part # 66036149.

Below you will see a picture of the original E55 mats, 66036149 mats, and BQ6680580 mats... all of which fit the W211 E63!

I received the mats in the middle and for $123 shipped I couldn't be happier.

wow, I guess I got my OEM ones for a steal at $75 from eBay. Some guy sold them. Must have sold/traded his car in.

I received the eBay mats and installed them last weekend. The 'snaps' in both front mats are farther apart than the anchors in the carpet, so there's a bit of bunching in the middle of each mat. Other than that, they'll do their job. I'm fine with spending $60 shipped for mediocre mats instead of $400+ for authentic ones. I have kids who'll destroy the mats anyway, whether they're $60 or $400!

Bill

E63//AMG 03-11-2013 08:21 PM

^ for $60 more you can have authentic AMG mats that are quality and will last.

Sorry but I am a tad confused....You said you ordered Part # BQ6680580, far right, but say you received the middle mat pictured (incorrect replacement) - Part # 66036149.

So to confirm, the OEM mat with the extra heel padding is Part # BQ6680580 ? Where did you order / buy the mats for ~$120 ?

Thanks!

Yes. I ordered the BQ6680580 (far right) but was told that it is no longer offered. The replacement is 66036149. As you can see they are different and they no longer have the extra heel padding. But the carpet is different and I think will hold up better. I was thinking to get a stainless steel AMG heel pad. Seen them on eBay.

The mats I bouy from oediscount parts. Free shipping on orders over $50.

Sorry if I'm a bit late on this thread. But I can attest to Jason's work. Bought two sets of mats from him for both of my FD's and the quality is outstanding. Both of them were his 36oz. Grand Touring mats.

Jason B 01-12-2014 03:12 PM

A question about mats. The oem regular "Mercedes" mats are about $120 from the dealer. They have a small mercedes metal logo on them, that's it. They looked kinda cheap and not how mercedes mats were made years ago.

Now, the same oem amg version of these mats sell for like $600.

The question is, besides the "amg" logo, are there any other quality differences? Are the Amg thicker carpet? Are the better quality than the standard Mercedes carpeted mats? Or are you paying $400 more just for an amg logo?

I have Mint Mint OEM E55 Carpet mats ill trade for OEM Rubber mats if you pay all the shipping
