Feeler for my "GTR" gray CLS55 wheels

Figured I would see what these are worth before I decide what direction I go. The RR wheel has 4 cracks and is now a paperweight.

Same thing happened to my friend. 4 cracks on one rear wheel, 2 cracks on the other rear.

Jeez. You cracking 19's make me worry about going up to 20's on Houston roads. I say get the wheel fixed. Rollo's on Richmond and Chimney Rock has a decent reputaion for good repairs.

I'm scared to buy 20's after my stock wheels and these broke. SABS fixed this one already. It seems the OEM wheels get about 6 months after a fix. Best to replace with a straight wheel and just get it painted.

Didn't you have those wheels done via water transfer? If you don't want to go that route again, drop it off at my shop or I'll meet you and paint it for you.

I think the guy who did it in Dallas told my buddy they were water transfer. When I looked at it after it cracked i could see it was paint. Guy was known to be a fraud. Can you deal with insurance claims? I was going to get my front bumper "fixed" aka E63 conversion with which i already have the parts. (front bumper is actually cracked) I haven't found anyone in Houston I actually trust yet to do body work. Rapid Body Works was great till they changed ownership.

The 18's crack just as bad but I think the lower profile on the 19's just exacerbate the problem. That and a lot of the guys with the CLS wheels on the W211's are lowered so that doesn't help.

I'm not selling these well, am I? Haha. I still may just buy a wheel off ebay and paint it and go on down the road for as long a sit lasts.
