Got the car tuned by Eurocharged yesterday

Either I'm underated or the driveline loss is lower than 10%. Only mods are an FTP HE, Bosch 010 pump, K&N filters & an S55 intake snorkel. None of that adds any notable power.

Before Tune: 442hp / ~480tq
After Tune : 483hp / ~510tq

Temps were hovering right around 60° in the shop.

One question....is the sneaky ECU reset still needed after getting an ECU tune?

The mods you have done so far will not add much hp, if any. But, they are the mods needed for the bigger gains later in modifying process......

Jerry is the man. The guy never ceases to amaze me!

damn! 30-35 hp to the wheels , not accounting in for other mods. I did know that tune adds 43 to the crank but this is nice. Also sexy ride

Nice numbers, but be careful how big your numbers are around here. People will think your car is some kind of freak like mine. I made 518whp with 555 wtq on a smaller s/c pulley, long tube headers, x-pipe, high flow cats, upgraded h/e and pump......and there were H8RS!

Congrats bro!!!!

Yeah, seems like this dyno reads high... in any case was it a box tune or custom dyno tune?

Most definitely it does. According to this dyno, I'm making more than guys with headers. The gains should still be worth looking at, correct?

I assume Jerry tweaked the box tune as it took him ~40 minutes to configure the tune on his computer.

Sounds like 2006s make the most power? They all seem to break the 400rwhp/480rwtq range in stock trim.

I was behind a few cars in the inside lanes. I got on at gessner and tried to catch up but traffic wasn't having that. Saw you dump off at wilcrest I think. Your car looks super clean rolling.

What the heck, and dyno dynamics generally read on the low side, but they can be altered to read differently.

That is more than I made on a dynojet and I have a dyno tune by Jerry with supercharger pulley but I am also headers, catless and 80mm throttle body. I guess this is when you say numbers are just numbers, on the streets or track is where the truth comes out.

Yeah, that's the only conclusive analysis you can make... I just don't want people who spend money on a lot more mods to be like "WTF I just spend $3k on mods on our numbers are the same!"

Yep, got on at Gessner and back off at Wilcrest to stop at my grandfather's since I was carrying his walker. My car had the only trunk large enough.

It would have been cool to see your ride. I have yet to see another random E55 on the street that didn't ignore other traffic.

Nice gains! Jerry knows what he's doing.

Rage-Tek's dynojet is said to read lower. I only made 405whp/456wtq stock. Then I made only 550whp/598wtq fully modded. AND MY CAR HAS NEVER HIT OVER 600WTQ!!

But look at my time slips carefully.

Eurocharged only advertises gains at the crank, which are 43hp/47tq.
