My wheels and tires up for sale (F14s)

Since my new wheels should be here the middle of next week, I thought I would post my current wheels up for sale. The specs are 18" Forgestar F14s, 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear. The tires are 215/40/18 front and 285/30/18 rears. Tires have about 5k or so on them I believe (Im going to check the mileage). These wheels are super light, under 20 lbs all around. Im looking to get $1,400 plus shipping.

what did you end up getting.... Glws

viren.89 05-04-2013 10:50 PM

215 in the front ? how does that work out ? that's a huge difference from front and rear and from the stock itself.

Wanted to keep the diameter of the tires the same. So when running a 285/30 tire in the rear the 215/40 matched the best. If you dont keep these diameters within 2% of each other, you can run into issues with the tcu freaking out.

viren.89 05-04-2013 11:28 PM

255/35 and 285/30 , work best , I assumed :nix:

Wheels look great in person, and I can vouch for seller. Glws!

JayE63 05-07-2013 01:33 PM

Love the Forgestars but I'm looking for 19s...

skratch77 05-07-2013 06:01 PM

What are the front width on these? I hit a fing ditch in the city and bent mine up.if I can fit a stock tire on the fronts and you want to part just the fronts I would buy em.

I'd have to paint them too so this might not be the best options for both of us.

These are a solid setup if anyone is on the fence on buying them

What is the weight difference in these to ours wheels and how much of a difference is it really for weight reasons? Anyone have a real grip on that answer? Thanks

Stock wheels are about 26 lbs front and 27 rear. These wheels are 19 front and 20 rear.

cij911 05-12-2013 12:53 AM

Can you please confirm the sizes (widths) ? I thought most were running 9" front and 10" rears. Thanks

Almost positive they are 8.5 front and 9.5 in the rear.

Manuyc 05-12-2013 09:31 AM

Dam they look brand new. GLWS
Ps what did you get

03'55AMG 05-13-2013 04:16 AM

If I would have seen his before I got mine, I would have been ALL OVER them! How have these not sold?? I paid more than twice as much for mine (18's 8.5in F 10in R with V12 evos on all corners), without mounting and balancing like these already are... This is a steal! Not even a hint of any sort of curb rash, pitting, fading, anything! GLWS!

Thanks brotha. These are absolutely mint. No rash scratches or anything. Might throw them on eBay I guess.

AKnight55 05-13-2013 02:40 PM

Just an update.. They are indeed 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. Im going to take the tires off, so anyone interested in just the wheels let me know.. Im looking to get $1,200 plus shipping for just the wheels. My understanding is they are around $1,400 new plus shipping, so this seems like a reasonable asking price.

03'55AMG 05-14-2013 01:16 AM

Guys, for that price, the money spent to what it looks like after, is wayyy worth it.. my car went from an old person grocery getter, to a lowered stealth fighter jet with room for bombs and heavy artillery.. I have lived where I am now, and I never got so many compliments until I got my wheels for some reason.. changes the whole look

What are the offsets? can you check very closely for cracks on inner lips? disregard my last offer. I'de plan to run 255-35 in front and 275-35 in rear. wanna make sure front would fit.

ArmoE55 05-14-2013 11:09 AM

I wonder how F14s in Gunmetal will look on a Flint Gray car..?

AKnight55 05-14-2013 01:03 PM

Not sure on the offsets, but I will try and check later. No cracks at all.

forcefed4door 05-14-2013 02:11 PM

only asked cuz after researching seems that a few people had hairline cracks show up causing air leaks. let me know offsets when you find out, thanks.

Looks like the offset for the front is 32. Again, didnt find any cracks.

AKnight55 05-14-2013 06:49 PM

$1,150 plus shipping for wheels only.. These are just taking up space in the garage.

03'55AMG 05-15-2013 04:44 PM

What a steal.. If you go much lower, I may have to pick up another set for that price... They are in like new condition, yet not selling for half the cost of new...

LOL, the rims are ~$1400 BNIB....The tires are basically worthless which is likely what is killing his sale.

AKnight55 05-15-2013 05:49 PM

Thats why im selling them without tires :nix:

Sorry I was referring to the post above (just meaning it is not 50% off new...if so they would have been sold ages ago..)

Still nice rims...

No worries. I think I priced them accordingly. They are not beat up in any way and you are going to receive these wheels in the original boxes just as you would from Forgestar, and you wouldnt even know they werent brand new.

03'55AMG 05-16-2013 12:06 AM

Mine were a little under $2000. That's why I refer to them as nearly half off. The only differences from his to mine are color and my rear rims are 10 inches wide rather than 9.5. So unless an extra half inch is $600 and sum odd dollars, then I got ripped off. As to my knowledge, color change is no cost unless its a special color.

AKnight55 05-19-2013 10:53 AM

Still have these guys

AKnight55 05-22-2013 09:52 PM

Bump.. Still have these.

tokyo0one 05-26-2013 05:57 AM

would these fit a W203 C32??

AKnight55 05-26-2013 11:50 AM

Don't think so.

The wheels are now on eBay.

55fanatic 05-28-2013 11:15 AM

Hey Andrew, I'm 99% sure I am gonna take these off your hands with tires like we said in the PM... Are these the rears above?

55fanatic 05-29-2013 09:49 PM

SOLD! stay tuned for pics

AKnight55 05-29-2013 10:11 PM

Yup, Sold.. Thanks Brotha :y
