Need help on choosing wheels for black opal

It is very hard for me to come across comparison pictures on what looks good with the dark blue exterior. Im looking for low priced wheels (can just throw away if gets bent). Ive had my fair share of big $$$$ wheels, and do not wanna go that route again. Im Sticking with 18" and will be swapping tires off oem wheels right to the new ones. Preference is 8.5 front, 9.5 rear.

These caught my eye.

anybody have photoshop skills to see if the forgestar f14 gunmetal wheels will look good on my car? I really wanted some kind of polished lip to complement the chrome accents on the car... its tough to make a decision

Im not good at Photoshop at all, but I would think 18s with a lip would make the rim look very small.

Ive always been a fan of the Carllsson 2/5 and 2/6 styles
This was back in 2003 though almost ten years ago.

If i had them, i would put them on my E55. Not everyones style, but i still like the oldschool look.

forcefed4door 05-18-2013 06:49 PM

the carllsson wheels pictured would Prolly look really good on say an Audi or jetta.

Check out concept one. I had black spokes and chrome lip on my obsidian black e500.

???? Can you please post information on the rims ?

bnzuovr 05-30-2013 06:05 PM

Those almost look like 740 wheels not bad maybe better in a larger size but good for the price.

The Carllssons definitly are from 2002 lol not feeling those at least not in 2013 ;)

forcefed4door 05-30-2013 06:57 PM

Private rivale
18x8.5 front +32
18x9.5 rear +30
Running with 245-40 front
275-35 rear. Front can go 255 no problem, I just like the beefier sidewall of The 245-40. I'm also gonna slap 10mm spacers up front
I'm pretty happy with look. I'm definitely gonna do some custom mb center caps when I have time

Those things look tiny.. Cant complain for the price I suppose.

LOL they are the exact size as what you are selling....IMHO, I think 18s or 19s are the way to go and anything bigger just is plain wrong...

haha I know.. Looks wise they look a lot smaller, usually anything with a lip looks smaller as opposed to a concave wheel..

I think the w211 looks Damn good with a lip on the wheels. The step lip definitely makes the inner wheel look smaller, but I think they look great for what they are. The split 5 spoke still makes it look sorta factory. Glad I didn't go with the bbs replica style.

Hi
I'm getting a 2009 ML350 4Matic on Wednesday and definitely want to get bigger wheels. From all the pictures I've seen these wheels look the best to me.
The question is if these wheels are available for the 2009 W164 ML350 I'm getting.

I've seen similar wheels but these ones are my favorites.

I would love to know where can I buy these in 20" or 22"

thanks a lot for your help
CJ

Ebay, that's where I got them.
