My calipers are terrible condition basically from paint job so wondering if I get calipers off another AMG (S55), would they fit my CLS?

Berti... How u strip off paint from old caliper paint?. I tried today and didn't budge

Just sand it lightly and then primer after primer paint. Berti and did mine

I used 1000 grit also but didn't do much as I couldn't get into the small areas

Us too we couldn't sand in all corners of the calipers. But we used a good thick primer and gave about 4 coats of primer. Then bought high temp caliper paint did 4 coats. Then put 4 coats of clear all from spray cans and they look brand new

We masked the rotors and everything around it

Can anyone tell me if S55 CLS55 and E55 calipers are same?

Yes they are the same, and all uses "360x36" Rotors,

you can use any "S55/CL55/CLS55/SL55" calipers in your E55....

I know this is an old Thread..
so Question all the CL55 (2003-2006), CLS55 (2006), E55(2003-2006), S55(2003-2006), SL55 (2003-2006) are all the same Calipers meaning the Mounting Bracket is Also the SAME size and spacing?
