It is definitely different. I don't personally like matte so if I did choose red which is a hard color for me to like on a car to start with, I would have done a glossy vs matte finish.
I read you can pressure wash it somewhere after a week or two according to the dipyourcar business owner. I don't know if I would try it or if I did I wouldn't get up close and personal with it.

You can add glossifier to it I guess but havent personally used the glossifier. But matte definitely has some texture to it so hand washing could be interesting.

I've always been a big fan of the 1-off different mods, so kool to have the only matte-red AMG I've ever seen... It reminds me of those frosty matte-red Christmas bulbs very unique & great idea! On Deck SON...

Absolutely, got too many white e55's running around nowadays. It's all about unique. Don't get me wrong, she'll be white again.
Yacht: not a wrap, its dip. Max, calipers new color needs to be decided..trim next week..

I don't think I have ever even seen another E55 in the 2+ years I have owned mine other than when meeting up with others who own them at some special dyno day or car show, must less a WHITE one. You can't possibly see to many white e55s running around. I think you might be jaded by just seeing the whole 6 of us on this forum out of the entire U.S. with a white one who tend to comment on each others threads and you see a white e55 in the sig.

More like sarcasm. I wanted one since our b6 audizine days lol. Took me many months to find..I was actually on vacation in vegas and flew out next day to pick this baby up when I saw it listed years ago. There's another modded white/pano e55 running around Boston now (55fanatic), And I saw an e63 a year ago.
It will go back to white/pano again. Best color combo out there. I was lucky with the black/merlot designo interior too. It was time to change it up.

There are 2 white E55 panos, a white E350 pano with AMG bumper, and a white E63 pano...
It's like the land of unicorns up here. I was looking for a tectite/flint pano car and couldn't find anything

Took me many months to find my white pano car and then found it in Atlanta. Got a partial loan and bought a plane ticket and was on my way like 2 days later.
Mine is black interior, with the dark trim pieces, I actually don't like the merlot (maroon) color seat and door insert color.

Looks good. Very unique and when you get tired of it you can just pull it off. And it will protect the paint during the winter.
