Soo... This is going to be the most ridiculous post I ever write.. Ignore the grammar, on a cell.
We wrapped each item one by one with a towel and zip tie. Then we went for a drive and figured out it was the lower oil feed line. We wanted to confirm that was it by doing a burn out with the hood up and everything wrapped except the leaking hose. So as soon as I hit the gas oil came out of the hose and the motor literally lifted 5-6". I knew I needed motor mounts but I didn't know it was torn in half.
After finding the issue we tested compression on the two problematic cylinders 1 & 8. Cylinder one tested 163. Cylinder 8 164. Both tested 3x each. Spark plugs all looked great for 90k.
I'll be changing the plugs out soon and will test all the cylinders.
Conclusion... Broken motor mount stretched the feed line which caused a leak.
Now time to celebrate!

I do, from what I understand the vibration when on drive is from the transmission mount. I have both motor mounts and transmission mounts in the garage I just havn't found someone to install them.

Have you found the part numbers for those hoses?

If someone has access to a dealer parts list. I can't find part numbers for these on any of the parts websites and the dealer is a 45 minute drive.
I need part numbers for both of the oil feed lines directly in front of the oil filter.
Thanks!

You're lucky the engine wasn't hitting the hood if it was moving that much.

Lol we couldn't think of another way to get into boost. We were going to put the car on jack stands and ride the brakes to give the engine some load but the jacking points on this car don't seem very secure.
I think it actually was hitting a little.. I was hearing a sound in first gear but the car in general is so loud I ignored it

I sure as hell hope you don't pay half of that for install of motor mounts. Any competent indy shop can do them all in a little over an hour. I'd say 300 for labor would be what you should expect.

I do 99.9% myself... For 300 I would consider having someone do it. I called every place within 100 miles and 700 was the cheapest.

I was told almost 8 hours labor x hourly mechanic rate :/. I'm going to go to parts at Mercedes dealer and see if they can help me find these hoses. If I get them I'll let you know. I'm going to replace both.

Edit: NOTE: with my vin the part number came up as 211-500-00-75 for my 04 e55 from parts at Mercedes.
Edit again: dealer wanted $380, OEdiscountparts.com wanted $280. They brought it down to $300 so I took it. $105 for a new ac condensor. 9qts of oil, and oil filter. Now I need to get this altogether and install them along with the motor mounts and tranny mounts. Can't wait to get her refreshed.

It was vibrating for maybe 800-1000 miles... I ordered the mounts 500 miles ago, I just haven't had time to do it. I planned on doing the motor mounts, tranny flush, rear diff and steam clean the whole underside of the car. About 10-12 hours work.
I now have the car parked until I have the oil lines. Driving the s2000 on semi slicks around town now lol

Does your system look like this?
Thats what my system looks like while the parts diagram on all the mb parts sites have this one listed:
I think you might also need more oil. I doubt when we do a normal oil change and fill 8/9 quarts its really emptying everything. When we fix the hoses we're going to be changing almost everything drop.

FML the threading is shot on the oil cooler. I had left was to attach the hose and come to find out i can't. New oil cooler is $400/500. There's a place I know that might be able to cut that and weld me a new piece :/
