Are the c63's Muffler really worth it on a E63?
 

Hey Fellow Members,

I have a quick question and help would be much appreciated. I currently drive a 2009 E63 with a X-pipe, Resonator Delete and Secondary Cat delete with Stock e63 mufflers mod.

Is the sound really a big difference if i do purchase a pair of c63 mufflers?

Is it worth it? Because if its a minor difference i wouldnt spend that much more money on it. ATM my car is already roaring like a beast.

Help and Advice is much much appreciated as i cant really tell the difference watching youtube videos.

my stock e63 sounds great - i think the c63 mufflers is what alot of folks are doing for the E55's.

I would think your car with the above would be plenty for most

The C63 mufflers are a little louder than the E63s when both are bone stock, but given what you've done to your exhaust setup already, you probably wouldn't notice much of a difference.

Save your money...

No, and besides the W211 E55/E63 tips are bigger and oval compared to the smaller rounder C63 tips.

Buy headers...leave the mufflers stock

I bought my friends e63 mufflers. He gave me a deal since he bought c63s for his e63. He said no difference and was disappointed. And I think I agree...i didn't hear a real difference myself...just a lol more raspy/aggressive. But I'm not trying to piss off my neighbors

C63 are lighter and more straight threw with less packing material inside.

I recently put C63 mufflers on my E63 and there is a difference, is it worth the money and the cost to install them? not at all. I got my c63 mufflers for $200 so i couldnt pass and also the previous owner of my E63 had the tips painted black which i HATE which is the main reason why i did it.
