I also had the pleasure to deal with the infamous sec injection problem earlier. I wanted to share the location of the 40A max fuse which powers the relay in order to run the sec pump. Everywhere I looked online, they were pointing to the 40A fuse in slot #61 inside the main fusebox/engine bay (drivers side by the cowl). On my 04 this is not the right fuse, #61 controls the Air matic pump/compressor and not the secondary air injection pump.
I have access to alldatapro and it showed that the fuse was in the trunk (had me really confused now) By the time all said and done I went through all the fuse boxes in the car. Finally after tracing the red/purple wire from the relay, found the right fuse location.
It sits under the glove box facing the firewall. There is a mini fuse box which houses about 6 max amp fuses. You'll have to remove a sheet metal panel (3 10mm plastic nuts) which houses the TCU and another control unit?. I've attached images showing the fuse and the relay for the secondary pump on 04 E55 models. Hope this can save some people time and headache.
5th fuse from the right- slot# 76
Relay is under the cabin filter housing, right next to the starter battery.

Yes much easier to disable via star since this is only needed on start up for emissions or something
