Wheel question ET 44, 46 43? 18x8.5/9.5

I don't have a amg, but you guys seem to be doing a lot more with the wider wheels and tires that the standard w211 forum, hence my questions here.

I have a 07 320 bluetec, and am thinking of purchasing 18x8.5/9.5
I want to run 255 40 18/ 275 35 18, which I know will work.

Searching around I know SL et35/40 will work.

My question is with higher offsets, 43, 44 up front and 46 in the back

This seems to take care of the 43 question

Anyone on here run ET44 front, ET46 rear setups?

I am running the AMG E55 stock style replica wheels. I had the rears custom widened to 10". I am running the 18x9 et35 all the way around but the rears with 1" added to the inside. So doing the math my rear would be 18x10 et45. I am running ContiSportContact 255/40/18 and 285/35/18 (SL tire sizes) On the front I can fit my pinky between the tire sidewall and upper control arm. Any lower offset up front would not work. The rears fit perfect, no rubbing, even when the airmatic is bled down. I may go to a 295 in the rear when these wear out.

I looked into the SL wheels, but they would stick out too far for my liking, especially the rears. Be aware different style SL (230) wheels have different ET's for some reason. The split spoke style AMG rear 18x9.5 has et33 for example while the SL550 10-spoke 18x9.5 has et39 which fit good in the back of the E55.

so 8.5 et44 and 9.5 et46 should fit? the any lower of an offset would not work part, confused me a bit, and you are running .5 inches wider up front of a wheel
