I have been looking around to find a mechanic or shop that knows the w211 e55 very well. If anyone can lead me to the right direction it can be in Milwaukee area or even Chicago area.

I know a couple good mechanics but need someone that has experience with the 55k AMG's.

Absolutely!! I'm in Racine and drive the car down to Speedriven for all maintenance/mods. I would never take it to a dealer!! Marcin knows these cars very well and has many years of experience with them.

I used to work at the Madison dealer, there are 2 very good guys that work there, both very trustworthy and will diagnose and repair any issue you have better than an aftermarket shop. Not sure what you're looking to have done though. If you want their names, pm me.

Doubt they can do any better than Marcin, he is not just an aftermarket shop. He worked many years for a MB dealership before starting his own. I would never take my car to the dealer.
