wagner vs akebono pads

i was about to bite the bullet and buy some akebono pads through toadsters sticky when i noticed the wager thermo quite's. I searched the forums and havent found much on them other than a few people mentioning they are half the price and a lot less dusty vs stock.

can anyone chime in that has experience with the wagners?

are the akebonos twice the pad that will last twice as long or?

I got the wagners and along with Zimmerman discs for the fronts and put some crc brake quiet on the back of the brakes.
So far so good. No noise and braking is on par with stock.
There's still brake dust but a lot less than the stock ones.
For the price they are, I am very happy with it!

I had wagners on my fronts with new OE rotors. The brakes felt fine, had very low dust, and were silent. I reccomend them as good DD replacements. I can't speak for how they hold up performance wise. I put about 15,000 miles on them before I sold the car. Still looked great.

No experience with the Wagners, but plenty with the Akebono. I put them on 5 different cars with flawless results. They are basically dustless.

They have become my mandatory first mod.
