Factory remote start for w211 for sale
I purchased this from a member 1 year ago and never installed. It's plug and play for any w211 without keyless go. Comes with everything needed and turns your panic button into the remote start feature. Manufactured by mid city engineering. Looking for 500$

My guess is that a few of the wires on the plug behind ignition switch will be different. The plug itself maybe a different size

Will it work with Keyless Go? The MidCity website does not differentiate.
Will I need a spare key under the dash?
What type of range do you typically get?
Does it work with a smartphone also?

You don't need a spare key. The range will be limited to how far your key fob can activate lock/unlock. And it looks like this particular unit I have came with a second remote which I think was optional and therefore an extra expense from the original owner. I'll snap a pic

It will work with keyless go or non keyless go. I took mine out of my 09 E63 with keyless go and put it in a 05 E320 CDI with out keyless go and it worked fine. Exact same connections.

Would you know if I happen to remote start it the memory seat and steering wheel will adjust at the same time or after I open the door and insert the key in?

I think it learns/clones the first key you start it with after installation and uses it for the memory functions.
