Anyone running 180mm cp and 83mm fixed upper

I currently have a 180mm lower and ordered a 83mm upper for a Christmas present to myself. Anyone running this combination of upper and lower? I sent jerry the tune info and he doesn't have a tune file for this combo yet and wants me to be on a dyno for him to tune it. Next question when can I get in a dyno so jerry can tune remote for me in so cal?

I've been really close to that. I have a 175mm lower and had the 80mm FSP. I recently swapped out the 80mm for the 77mm. It's fast, but I'm having a lean issue.

I'm running stacked 180 with a clutched 84mm. No problems getting tuned, BIP did it remotely with me data logging 3rd gear pulls. Gotta have lots of cooling with that setup though cause it will make lots of heat!!

Your right been too busy making money but when I slow down it will be on the dyno! When you work on cars all day long it's not the first thing I look to do when you have extra free time.

I have big h/e with a trunk tank and a fabtech under hood tank, thinking I might go with a kc as well but not sure if I want to go kc or meth? Suggestions.... Other then that I have mods very close to yours

Meth and KC for cooling. KC handles down low and street duty and the meth takes care of the top end.

Bigger injectors for sure, but I'm not maxing them out yet. On some of my richer tunes, I've seen AFR dip into the 9's on a run.

Jerry @ EC is doing my tuning. He's the man.

To the OP if I were you I would stay as far away as possible from the fixed pulley there isn't enough hard data for em, you see Denroll talking about going lean and not being able to solve it trust me me man if these cars were ment to have the clutchless pulley they would of came from factory like that but they didn't, everyone has their opinion but I would say the "fixed" pulley will cause you more issues than anything!!
Just get a 84mm clutched upper and you will be happy trust me.

I was running rich with the fixed pulley for quite a while. It is not the cause of my lean issue. Go ahead and leave your car stock if you're worried about any issues.

The issue is you feeding people lies. But go ahead continue your journey of having issues! not to mention you make like close to 600whp and yet still run like high 11s lmao

Let's get Fixed lol

Here's some advice: go back to school and work on your reading skills. If your comprehension is as good as your writing, then I'm not surprised by your confusion.

I've been nothing but transparent with all of my issues, both good and bad. Go ahead and ask around, since reading isn't your thing. You even pointed some of these out, but then accuse me of lying. Keep on truckin' and trash-talking my car. I love it.

Again so you can understand this I'll go slow this time.

Fixed pulley is ****!! just came out not too long ago no hard data.. "Lots of issues"

Clutched pulley running 10+ years strong no issues!!!

What else is there for me to say enjoy your car, it's what you do in the end not me but at least when I post about going to the track best believe I will be breaking the tens with way lower power than you..

I know how long the fixed pulley has been out. I'm literally like the second or third person to put one on my car. Guess what? If it was junk, as you claim with zero first-hand experience, then it wouldn't still be on my car. I found the driving experience to be worth the trouble of sorting out the issues. Some people like to find problems and look for ways to solve them, others like to sit back and run their ignorant mouths. Which one are you?

I think I know. I did a quick check of your other posts and it seems like you run your mouth a lot, even when your information is wrong. Like this:

We all know the 03-04 have an advantage of doing burn outs, the only way next years e55 would, is going into dyno mode

So whatever you were trying to say keep it to your self, If I were you I would let people talk for them self instead of you translating for them lol.

My car is an '06 and I can do a burnout until the tires pop.

You're giving Mustang drivers a bad name. Don't do the same thing to our cars.

After I solve this lean issue. It should be an easy fix since you've already diagnosed the fixed pulley as being the cause. How much do I owe you for the advice?
