SC Pulley Bolt
Have my blower off the car and trying to get this damn pulley off, anyone have any tips to help back this bolt out? I may have to wait to put the supercharger back on the car because I may need it to be bolted down for some resistance.
Also, rough estimate on the amount of supercharger oil to put back into the unit?
Thanks

Ok, I'll try that. I've only been heating it for 20 seconds or so in fear that the bolt will expand also and lock itself in tighter.
I think I might also need a helping hand besides myself lol.
Thanks Shardul!

Its 150-155ml of oil thats supposed to be in there.
Heres a great site if you speak german, though pictures tell you more than 1000 words
Heres a pic of the correct amount of oil!

Only problem my car is my daily driver lol. But I can find a way to arrange a ride if I can't figure out another way.
But I will definitely try the shop suggestion if I can't get it off after bolting the supercharger back on the motor.

My friend, bolting it back on the car will only give you a stable SC. It will still turn so the best is an impact gun. Or search the forums, there was one fellow who used hose clamps to hold the pulley firm while using a large breaker bar, which when on the car is space restrictive. Impact is the easiest way.
Small amount of heat is okay but be careful not to overheat ( red) and possibly damage the seals for the bearings= more money
Good Luck

Correct, the reason I would need to bolt it back to the motor is for stability. I had both my friend and I's weight (+300lb) on the supercharger while on the garage floor trying to break the bolt but it isn't enough since I have to basically fight my own force.
