Will upgrading the pulley solve this sound? *video clip included*

about 15 months ago I replaced the outer supercharger pulley bearing...fast forward to now, The sound I'm am hearing now is coming from what I believe is the inner pulley bearing. It a very metallic, high-freq grinding noise. Am I right to believe that the sound hearing is the inner bearing? And if i were to upgrade the pulley (probably not gonna go clutchless, for better reliability), will that require me to replace this bearing anyway? I remember reading something about a special MB tool I will have to buy before doing this repair, is that correct?

Thanks for any input

you need a special pulley to remove the electro magnet portion of it

Would you agree that my inner bearing is shot? I found a how-to on the electro magnet removal, from my understanding a pulley upgrade wouldn't correct my issue. I.e: the 77mm clutch pulley you just posted in the vendor section, aside from the belt kit the only thing that included is what's pictured, correct?

Sorry the answers to my questions may seem obvious, but i just want to verify the research I'm doing in a form of questions that I have...

There seems to be some wear on the drum. Could it be that something is just grinding on it from the outside?

remove the sc pulley or the sc belt and let the car idle to see if noise is present

No wear, that's just tape residue when I used cloth tape around the mag to provide better grip for the strap wrench.

Okay, I am waiting on my serpentine belt that's currently being shipped, when I do replace that this weekend, I will do that...

So it is safe to idle/run the car without the S/c belt on?

Toadster- yes I know I need to change the bearing, my question is which bearing? Is the clutch bearing shot, or is it the outer Nachi s/c bearing That's shot? I'm really doubting that it's the Nachi because I replaced that about 20-25k ago. I really am trying to pinpoint this issue without the unnecessary replacement of good parts...
