OEM E55 Floor Mats?

I've had my 2005 E55 for a year now and have had a really hard time finding a set of original floor mats. I've seen the thread where a dude is selling new ones for something like $500. I'm not willing to pay that price for them but am interested in acquiring some.

What I'm looking for is a set of used E55 mats in good/excellent condition. I have the standard W211 E-Class mats in the car right now. I'm looking to trade these mats + cash for some OEM E55 mats. I'm very obsessive about my cars so I'm hoping to find someone who doesn't necessarily find much value in having their E55 mats as compared to the mats I have to trade them with.

Please PM me or reply if you have some or can steer me in the right direction. I want to end this hunt!

I have these.

Looking for these but in better condition.

I'm looking for the mats on the Right, not the ones on the Left.

If you need Anthracite mats, you can still buy a new set from one of the OEM parts websites. If you need black AMG mats, I believe they are being stored alongside the holy grail in Jimmy Hoffa's hideout.

I actually like the updated black mats (the one on the left). It matches the other black in the car (seats, dash, etc).

I sold my old original mats for more than the cost of the updated mats. Upgrade your car and make money! haha

I bought the updated mats a year ago new for like $130. They were ok but I think the black ones I have in it are better looking. Ultimately, I want the stock ones. I guess I should've made it a requirement when car hunting! Didn't even notice.

I'd be willing to do $180 + I'll ship the black mats I have in my car right now (in great condition) to anyone who has what I'm looking for.

I didn't know W211s had 2 different black interiors before but the post-06 are much more black and better looking. They're so much deeper. Makes the pre-facelift look faded.

Mine are off-site getting shampoo'd, cleaned, bleached (logo) and re-dyed. I can't wait to get them back

How much is that costing and is it actual dying or painting because they are different?

They dyed the mats and bleached the AMG logos. Here is a shot before the dye.

I have a brand new OEM set still in plastic here in Germany which I plan to keep.
As best as I can recall, I paid about 150 Euros about 3 years ago. While they are not for sale, I will check availability and current price in Germany.

As I posted before in another thread, it should be noted that the BQ6680580 floor mats (and all other floor mats in this style) shown on the right in the photo above were commissioned by Mercedes-Benz USA and manufactured by a third-party company in the USA. These mats were never sold in any other market and they were eventually discontinued. The B66036149 floor mats shown on the left in the photo above were offered in Europe and in all other markets from the start of W211 and S211 E55 production.

The BQ6680580 mats were a cost cutting supplement created by Mercedes Benz USA (hence why they do not have embroidery on the rear mats) and they are NOT genuine AMG accessories. This is also why there was a significant price discrepancy because Mercedes Benz USA controlled the pricing and production and marked them up significantly. The B66036149 floor mats are not "updated" mats, its simply that Mercedes-Benz USA finally started selling the European spec mats in the USA. If anything the USA mats should be worth less than the European spec mats.

Hmm very interesting.. AgSilver, do the ones you own look like the mats on the left? I'd assume so given what Großaspach mentioned.

I bought a brand-new set of P/N B66036149 (mats on the left) and they didn't match well at all with the greyish/purplish black interior of the E55.. I'm surprised to hear these mats came stock in all W211 E55s outside the USA.
