That is incredible, just epic!! I have to ask though, how come the twin turbo M157 haven't broken the E55s record let alone get into the 9s when AMS is claiming 787whp+ ?? I mean 9.7 is just FLYING, way way way faster than any posted record by a 5.5 TT car so what's going on?

M157 cars are heavier to begin with. Your not going to see one of them pulling 1.42-1.45 60ft times anytime soon either. To put that 60ft time into perspective if it was a 1.52 it would of been right around a 10.00 pass. I really believe with better weather and taking weight out 9.50 maybe a 9.40 is possible.

Thank you! There are alot of guys that just talk alot. The newer benzes are heavier but have great potential.
^ This. If I take anything out people will start with their "gutted" bull**** again. I think it can do a 9.6x as is in better weather but yea if I put a race seat in or remove weight like most of the fastest benzes out there I don't see why a 9.4X isn't achievable under ideal conditions

Thanks! Yea I finally got it aligned just right where it doesn't spin/rub and just goes. Nothing changed between my last track day and this one except fuel and actually using meth instead of washer fluid lol
Thanks! Yes I was running M1 through the blower for the first time. The sc generates alot of heat and it needs the meth, unless you want to use nitrous

Corrected to as if I was running at +5k DA (DA was ~+400 when I ran so I entered -4600 as the run DA). Still in the 9s. Now what if I actually ran in negative DA? Try again hater...

pretty sure no e55 is going to give it any problems on the highway from a roll as that car is also dynoing now at 1115 hp https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...que-crank.html
not to mention the 5.5TT's are still so new and severely hampered by electonic trq limiting on launch, hence hardly any of them have cracked 1.7 0-60ft.... once tuners can figure that out then you will see much lower 1/4 times..
but for now, there are 4- 5.5TT's on dragtimes with a better mph than the #1 e55 time spot... showing the power is there, just the launch is a problem

last time i checked the fast 5.5TT is running 139mph in the 1/4 while e55 fastest is 138... also there is a GAD e63 in russia that is running 142.5 mph in the 1/4 in wet tarmac https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...-142-5mph.html

The new 5.5TT are monsters. Also keep in mind a E55 cant run more than 17PSI

No I have multiple cars so it is not driven daily but it could be if I wanted to. Still has AC, PS, Radio, etc etc
