"Unfortunately the interior will still be a half step up from a Kia."
You got that right! I'm sure Nasharty will attest to that one. What ever happened to him? Did Bangle have him picked-off after posting all those nasty pictures of the crappy quality control issues on the new BMW's?
Oh yeah, don't forget that the **** end of the M5 will be only a step away from a Pontiac Bonneville.

Man, I'm chuckling to myself imagining people freaking out when that front end starts bearing down on them. It screams, get the hell out of my way. And yes, that's a good thing.

Looks like another ***** car to me. I've seen the 5's, and it's one boring car. The side goes straight up and down like the designer took 5 minutes on it.
Overall thumbsdown on the styling. Performance will certainly be excellent, but damn... that bangle curse.

Chris Bangle needs to be shot before he screws up any more BMW's. The exterior design of the new 7 series and 5 series, and the Z4 from some angles is just awful.

I like, looks mean as hell. I agree with the interior of the 5 though, thats one of the main reasons why I got the E over the 5 series. and as much as i'm in love with the e55, I'd watch out when one of those pull up next to you.

i tend to disagree. so far no magazine has coclusively demonstrated that SMG-II equipped M3 is faster than 6 speed.
I do not like SMG. In many cases, the SMG-II was too smart that would double clutch when I don't want it to. Which actually slowed the acceleration.
I hate SMG but have to get one, because no one in the house except me can drive a stick.
