Dave our business is done and our conversation is over. You have tried to deceive everyone here with a false story. Dave, if you waited a few days longer and say the headers did not ship. Then you would have a rightful claim and grievance to not be charged a restocking fee. However that is not the case, you canceled within the given time frame a 1 day before shipping. So you were charged a restocking fee.

Why dont you tell the people here how you lied to them in your post about a phone conversation you claimed to have had with me about needing more time? Run with that lie.

You see Dave you have nothing invested into this forum So lying to the members doesnt bother you. Me on the other hand have been truthful and always honest to the people on this forum. Needless to say I have a vested interest in being honest, even if that mean admitting mistakes.

Your whole goal with this post isnt about warning anyone, its about revenge. Even if it mean you have to make up and lie about a bunch of it, you consider that a necessary evil.

And to end for the record every statement you said about me i proved you wrong.
You said I never got car running i showed you pic of it being dyno'd with its new Renntech headers
You called me broke. I showed you i have more money in cars than you will have your whole life
You said I didn't own any AMG's? I showed you 3 I have right now. 2 Renntech and 1 Weistec
You said I lied about the story but I posted a pic of your pathetic email cause you didn't have the nuts to call saying your phone is broken but left a cell number and sent me to voicemail

Nobody will buy your headers for 50 percent off. They will be half price in autozone by the time they ship! Haha! Please post one transaction of a sale from this. I got 10k riding says nobody buys **** from you cause your already known as a fool! My investment to this site is sharing knowledge and checking out bad *** cars not trying to sell products so take your nonsense elsewhere! Off Renntech or Weistec posted 15 percent off their phones would be goin off like Black Friday! I bet your business / cell phone doesn't ring one time tomorrow !!! MBH MAKES QUALITY HEADERS AND SHIPS THEM FAST!!!! APRIL FOOOLS EVERYBODY

Mike, I hAve a solution to fix all this. I will give you a loan at 10 percent interest so you can shelf 3 of every parts you make. Then when one sells it gives you a few weeks to build another set and you have 2 more in the meantime.

Dave, Hate to say it but when I had Mike build my headers 4 years ago he said "About two weeks" and he was good on his word. Mike also happens to build the best headers for a AMG that you can get.

And really dude 17 of your 41 post's are in this thread most of them are dick waving....

its a shame the experiences from one person to another. When I got my headers I sent mike 500 bucks to start them and paid him the rest when finished a few weeks later.

This place is a joke.
As a business of this type, you shouldn't be charging anyone's credit card (or collecting payment) unless you have a product in-hand and ready to ship. Imagine, all of this could have been avoided. How can you sell something you don't have? It's a poor business practice which leads to situations like this.

No one gives a **** about the cars you have owned. It doesn't help prove your argument at all. That, coupled with the claims of sending pictures of your bank account, just proves that you think you are some special little idiot and that number makes you bigger than someone else.

Thank you, Building our headers takes time. we have 3 people that can build headers and each one builds a set from start to finish. This is why we say "about two weeks" from the time you place your order to the time we ship.

We have tried to stock headers, but sell faster than we can realistically replace them. When we do get ones in stock I always offer them first to MBworld folks.

As for this thread, Dave has literally fabricated a story to portray us in the worst possible way. It was not to warn or inform anyone. It was to exaggerate the story in the worst possible way to make us look bad. Fabricate a phone call (that never happened) to make us look even worse. All while the truth of the matter is he canceled his order within the time frame we gave him. If Dave reached out to me a day or 2 or even 3 later and asked to cancel, I would have said "No problem" and promptly refunded him. However once we start building the headers for the customer canceling the order results in a loss for our company. Our workers dont work for free and high grade stainless steel is not cheap. So we have to charge a restocking fee of 15%. we eat 3% in running the card and we eat at least 3% in refunding the card. The 9% left is not even close to covering our loss on a canceled order.

Again if we did go over the estimated time frame that we gave Dave than a restock fee would not have been applied, because it would have been our fault. Thast not the case though, We were within our estimated time frame. That completely goes against his fictitious story.

For the record Dave's card was refunded the same day he asked for a refund. I even send him a copy of the refund receipt for our CC machine that day.

This will be the last I address this topic. I appreciate everyone who heard me out and my 7 years as a site sponsor and many more before as a regular member hold a little more water than someone who just joined the forum and has nothing to lose by lying to everyone.

As I promised my 04/01/16 deal still stands. If everyone wants to know I have a Dr appointment with my wife today at 9:45AM AZ time. She is 8 months pregnant and I go to every appointment with her. If you are going to call maybe 11AM might be the best time. Or you can PM or Email me.

As a business, which sounds like they make product on demand and don't typically stock it on shelf, prepayment of merchandise is quite common, as each order is considered "special order".

Right or wrong, we live in an on-demand society. Businesses need to adapt or suffer the consequences. This isn't a product that is specifically made to fit one unique and particular application, therefore special order really isn't warranted, in my opinion. Oftentimes, great craftsmen aren't great businessmen.

Depends on the quantity of product turnover.

Based on the picture provided by the original poster, this was going into a W219 CLS63 which was only produced for two years and a total quantity of 1333. This is not a car in high enough demand to stock parts on a shelf, IMO.

As far as I see it both parties are at fault. MBH should have asked for a $500 deposit and the rest when ready to ship.
Dave should not be involved in a D!ck swinging contest. Showing bank accounts and past cars borrowed (who the bank most likely owns) doesn't prove and settles nothing! It's actually antagonizing. What an asshat.

I can Only speak from my experience and I had NO PROBLEM with my order approx. 2 years ago. Put my deposit down, when ready paid the rest and had them installed.. No Problem.. They are works of art and are hand made to order, that takes time.. I am sorry for the problem, but things do come up and sh*t happens, it's called life.. This should not be made a big deal on the forum.. My02....

It would not have been a problem for more time but the car was scheduled to be moved by a transport company along with 2 of my other cars to another property of mine out of state. He knew the urgency as it was not his fault. The car git stuck in another shop and the owners seperated and I took the fall and had to take my car out unfinished. I was gonna place another order but called him first and told him the story and he said by 2 weeks no prob. It's was not about being impatient , I had a strict timeline.

A Cls63 was produced from 2007 and didn't change anything until 2012. That's 5 years of the same m156 motor and drivetrain that are also in many many other amg models. It ran in the c class up until like 2014 or so. VERY COMMON motor and car

How can anyone who can't even spell correctly or use proper grammar have had so many of these cars? Drug dealer?

You sound like a crybaby (and a bad-spelling one at that). 33 posts, all on this thread, does not make an 'enthusiast'. And this plus the current thread on the C63 forum are about the only bad experiences anyone on MBW has seen about MBH - fishy timing. Is Mike slow and somewhat unresponsive? Maybe, but he's not a huge business like Weistec or Renntech and probably pretty busy. He's never been known to rip someone off, so I'm calling troll on this one until there's proof posted in this thread.

Oh yeah, and by the way, sending someone a bank account statement is tacky. No class.
