I'm from the Philippines yes I read it also but x4/10 is the main fuse from batterry to the ecu so if the car can be started I don't think it's the problem as in my case when we opened it the continuity is OK. so if your battery and alternator us charging but u still get error message battery visit workshop and interior electrical issues and engine electrical issues I think u should look into doing das on n93 central gateway module.

x4/10 is also the connection of the alternator to the battery and you have said that both batteries are charging since their voltages are 13.5v. so if the car us charging but it still gets error message it's probably not the culprit but since as I have said it is the easiest to check we better check this 2 items first x4/10 and bcm.

the next 2 items to be checked based on my reading of previous posts from forum are the cgm and eis. in your case the why do you have overheating meaning rad fan is not functioning when the default of Benz it should be on high speed fan to prevent overheating. because of multiple faults involving 2 different location and control units. this points to a common communication pathway which are the eis and cgm. benz is designed with several small computers link by a common router.

And how do you get the carpet up to look for this fuse box? Is that two bolt holes i see on either side?

i changed the bcm and it was ok but now it come on and off.

do you mean that the red battery warning comes on and off on the instrument cluster

the problem in benz the main diagnosis does no manifest right away and based on my personal experience you have 2 choices one is to get the diagnosis using das and analyze its result and second drive it for 2 hrs and wait for all other errors to appear then have it read by das

Will try that, but yesterday i drove almost the whole day and the sign did not appear. Does this perhaps means that there's a short circuit somewhere?

probably it resets itself just continue observing and good luck until the next error appears

Yep it's gone, not appearing anymore but now the car drives and when I get to an instersection or a stop rather it switches off and battles to start once started it will drive smoothly and cut off. What could be the problem? I checked with the ODB it gave me P0161 and P0160

Im a little confused considering my W211 E55 doesnt look like that X4/10 fuse box? These are pics of what I actually have, nothing like what was posted. Mine has a ground wire (black) and the above has a red and the boxes are even alike.
