Peculiar Dynamic Seat Issues
Good Afternoon,
I recently acquired a new (to me) 2004 E55 with dynamic seats. For the most part the dynamic seats work; you can select 'Dynamic' and the seats will work as they should, but the 'Pulse" feature flashes intermittently and then turns off. The weird part is that while driving (whether in Dynamic mode or not) two bags will randomly inflate, the first bag is underneath the thighs at that front of the seat, the other at my tailbone randomly goosing me as I drive. I looked at other threads and the ones that I read through mostly mentioned that the dynamic button wasn't working either. I'm assuming that since the dynamic seats are working my pump is working as it should. From what I notice it's the same situation on both seats. Do you guys have any suggestions as to where I should start looking?

Do you notice the side bolsters randomly inflating as well? If so, that's good, it means the dynamic part is working. The pulse really doesn't pulse, on mine it just inflates and deflates the lumbar bags on a cycle.

Not randomly, but when the dynamic button is pushed the bolsters inflate on corners like they should on both driver/passenger sides. Whether dynamic is pushed or not the butt/thigh bags inflate/deflate on the driver side at random. I'll need to check passenger side.
