Battery drain, AGW fan? Fuse 6 in trunk.
I was waking up to "Low Battery, Convenience Features Disabled" regularly. I tried a new battery and even got a new alternator installed. That seemed to fix it for awhile, then it started again. I kept hearing a whirring in the trunk (driver's side) long after the car had been switched off. Friday I pulled out a 40 milliamp fuse at #6 in the trunk fuses and the whirring stopped. Now my car is behaving normally with no warnings.
My indy shop said there is a cooling fan in the Audio Gate Way that is a notorious source of battery drain. Since I have a custom head unit and amp, the plan is to keep this fuse removed.
