Hiccup issues?

The hiccup lean condition is a tune issue and not hardware. some cars just don't like the bigger to, nothing can be done. There's something in the ecu that the tuners can't seem to write to on certain cars and years make no diff. I have seen 03-06 some the hiccup.

This is not a satisfying answer. In Germany guys used 82mm TB and NONE, ZERO people have had ever hiccup issues... Tell me what the german tuners know what we dont know.
I also passed the info from the german Renntech tuner to Eurochard and BIP back in the days, its because of certain wrong pressures on non-boost mode but it can be fixed.

However i wont use a german tune as the power they develop is to low.

That's the real answer my friend.

My friend had the hiccup with 2 tuners no matter what. He went with a German tuner and no more issues. It's been 2 years now. No changing of any hardware. In fact that day he had the hiccup just before the tune and after tune all good.

The car feels great and good power. He hasn't dynoed again to see if he's making more or less power

Perhaps there is a difference in the USA engine module versus the EU modules and it's not actually the tuners making the difference. Something could be different inside of it due to our different emission regulations.

Hulk is right. Totally random. My first e55 did it at 2,300 miles and was totally stock.

current car did it randomly and NEVER did it when I had the 77mm fixed pulley on it.

put the 84 clutched back on and randomly it occurs...

The downside of owning a 500 RWHP (+/-) street/ daily driver car...

I have same problem with my car. I have 85mm TB and ecu/tcu upgrade from eurocharged but I still have that hiccup problem. Do you know any German tuners? I'll apperciate any input.
