Car faster in M or S mode?

Car faster in M or S mode?
Do you guys know for certain which transmission mode gets you down the strip faster?
With my E63 it feels like my car is a lot more powerful in M mode vs S mode...what about you guys?

As far as I can tell, with over 100 passes down the 1/4 mile, it makes no difference. Once the pedal is all the way to the floor most (if not all) of the settings are put into full "Oh *****" mode and you get max performance.
The only caveat is that when I had my factory TCU tune I would usually race in M, but still let the computer shift for me. Now that I have a Lawshee TCU tune I can't use M because it won't shift on its own, so I leave it in S. My ETs and MPH don't suffer though, so I doubt it matters.

hmm...I'll need to try it again, but last I recall my E63 feels a lot faster in M...like scary fast where in S its just fast. particularly in 1st-3rd gear.
