new e55 owner various questions
I just bought a 2006 56k salvage title e55 for $9500. Id say I got what I paid for, its low miles, interior is a 9/10 way better than most I have seen, drivers seat leather is nice. it has some issues I need to attempt to solve I will post other questions for them so they are easier for future people to search. Cosmetically on the exterior i-ll give it a 6.5 a lot of small problems but overall it looks good. It is very well optioned.
anyway ill post some pictures below
1. is that the upgraded cooler pump is says bosch on it.
2. what tomfoolery is this I have going on in the trunk this is in between the spare and the back seat, multiple plugs disconnected, black wire cut, loose module?
Thanks in advance

I am in sacramento, it has a stock style head unit maybe someone had a sub in there in the past?
i was wondering if it was the upgraded pump, I was under the impression some of the ones in the 06 cars was the the upgraded pump, it looks stock. it has lorinser catback but I have not noticed any other upgrades. It is the 2nd fastest of the 6 or so I test drove. It looks like it does not have the 010 number.

The upgraded Bosch pump looks exactly like the original unit. The only way to tell the difference (that I know of) is to look at the part number. The upgraded pump's p/n ends in -010.

I'm inclined to agree with this. They may have just quit the install or decided to swap the OEM unit back into the car after the accident (as insurance wasn't giving any loot for it).
Any dashboard warnings of any kind? Does the tuner work? -Single CD, CD changer, nav?

no dash warnings, tuner works, I have not tried a cd, nav boots up but it thinks I am in florida....
I did pull the headunit out, its clearly been in and out before but there was no wire splices in there so they may of replaced it. some hack definately did work on the car one screw is missing of the two that lock the headunit down. all the plastic plugs and bolts to hold down trunk trim are missing in the back
