07 E63 airmatic lieak
As you can hear loud and clear from the clip. It's from the front driver side. If I raise the suspension and then turn it off, I can hear this. I tried to remove the wheel to inspect but unable to do so because the wheel get stuck so hard. But when I jack the car up, I can hear that sound again. Can you tell from the clip what is going on? The air compressor or something else?

I tried to eyes inspecting the air spring but didn't see any abnormal. Surprisingly, after twisting it a little bit, it's seem to work ok now. I don't have problem to raise or low the car, just that front left so is it possible that the air spring and strut is the one having problem and not the air pump? For part, Local MB quote me $940 + tax, while a local shop quote me around $500 for Arnott with life time warranty. Is there any other options?

Got Arnott air strut installed and man, the quality of the ride is back. It feel so good that I want to go ahead and replace the other 3
Part cost: OEM: $940, Arnott: $488
Labor cost: Dealer: $600, 4 Indy shop range from $240, $290, $330, $390. They all bs it a 3hrs job and need a computer hook up to align the strut. I ended up using mobil service at Yourmechanic.com for $220. They charged less than other shop and get it done at right in your garage make it very convenience but I still think they over charged for a 45' job. I know Hull had shown me the clip from Arnott but I don't have all the tools and I am not that good to get the job done by myself. If you can do it, airmatic replacement is not that terribly expensive. Happy Friday.

Check your rear rotor thickness. 24mm minimum. Don't panic if below, but certainly change with the next set of pads. You will not be able to break free the Torx bolts for the caliper unless it is in the air or you are really strong. I torqued up to 100ftlb when putting back on.
