Can you lower a w211 1.5" without totally messing up alignment?
Hi everybody, I promised I searched on this.
I think I'd like to lower my E55. Obviously that's been done a million times and it's not rocket science. The question is, at what point do the toe/camber specs get so far out of whack that crash bolts and/or adjustable rear links are needed?
If I remember the crash bolts up front can give almost a half degree of camber correction in the front and I think I read camber changed by -.1 degrees for every 10mm of drop.
Mainly I am trying to stay away from rear adjustable links with rod-ends. I drive my car in the winter and brine water is hell on moving metal parts such as those. I know kmac bushings are an option as well, but I'm trying to keep things somewhat simple.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

just get a lowering module. it will make the car lowered when you are below a speed you preset (say 5 mph) and then it will go back to stock height above that speed.
