w211 brake wiring diagram

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated. 04 E55 112xxx on the clock. Brake Visit Workshop light is on. We have replaced the SBC. Indy Mech is telling me that there is a relay that is losing power according to his diagnostic tool. He can't find the relay on any wiring diagrams... Does anybody out there have specific wiring diagrams for the brake system for 04? Any other thoughts would be appreciated. the PO of this car butchered the electrical system, we have it all worked out except this. brakes are functioning normally and no trouble codes are set. v

Here's my VIN

WDBUF76J94A580212. He has received 2 wrong wiring diagrams from whoever he gets such things from. Ha been very reliable and knowledgable MB/BMW specialist. Also does track and testing stuff for MB.

I am amazed that your so called MB expert does not have access to MB WIS--he is wasting your time----in any event have him look at PE4247P200099DA ---if that is one of the diagrams he could not use---well good luck!!

Your mechanic is incompetent. Find a new one. You can't even replace the SBC without recoding the car with SCN.

There is no SCN coding on SBC units.

Newer Bosch SBC units manufactured after 2010 require DME/ETC/ESP recoding ... which requires SCN coding. I'm assuming he's not using an old part.

Mine was done at the dealer under the warranty.

There's the right way to do something, and then there's the *** monkey method most of you people use.

this is a 211 forum and the OP drives an 04 55 - it would be good to get specific references to it

Don't know what your dealer is telling you but none of that is true.

I'm sure you're right. After all, your motor electronics software is probably the same as the one from my screenshot right?

I just sigh. Repeatedly. When I come here.

Replacement units aren't manufactured in 2004. The replacement units are 2010 or newer, unless they're used.

I have replaced probably 50 sbc units and not once have I been directed by star or wis to SCN code anything. And what does motor electronics have to do with this. Not sure what you are implying.
