s430 2000 model airmatic problem

Wrong section of the forum this is the w211 amg section.
But in your case, I would start with checking the fuses and relays first, if getting those checked and swapped out I would say your airmatic pump is done. The usual problem with the w220 airmatic is a bad relay keeps the pump running non stop and burns out, or you have a leak that causes the pump to run constantly.
I had a 2003 s500 and luckily never had issues with airmatic, good luck to ya.

Airmatic
Yes read 10,000 threads on airmatic, electrical checks show no control voltage to control relay "o" car was bought at auction resting low on gnd, jacked car up to try to get compressor to run... no luck, if I jump relay contacts compressor will run but not rising car, Display in car after startup shows "airmatic rising" however no control voltage to relay "o" so now what??? replace controller, or ??? And the Mercedes benz dealer on the phone says big $$$ to fix!!

If I were in your situation, I would get rid of the airmatic all together and install a coilover kit. I forget the name of the company that has it but I remember reading that its a great kit and not outrageously priced. Im sure as you have read, the airmatic on the early w220's arent great, add on that its an auction vehicle with no records. Its safe to assume that at some point you will have to swap out all four struts, the pump, and currently some electrical work. Not worth the headache to troubleshoot in my opinion.

If you do not have access to diagnostic software you should consider having a dealership diagnose the problem before you start buying parts, even if you plan to do the actual repair. Welcome to the forum.
