Anyone run square wheel setup with staggered tires?

Like the title says, looking to see if anyone runs square wheels, ie. 19x9.5 all around, with staggered tire setup (245/30/19 fronts 275/25/19s?)

Seems like there's a plethora of square setups out there, but finding staggered with our fitment is very hard....

Why go square on the wheels if you're going to run staggered tires? I think the front would end up being a little stretched, but otherwise not sure why there would be an issue if the wheels fit.

It will look retarded as.

I have 275/30/19 and 285/35/19 on my 9.5 " rims all round.

The 275 looks way gayer than the 285 imo. But some folks seem to think stretching the tire looks better. Meh whatever.

I personally do not like the stretched tire look, you put far too much stress on the side walls. There was this young guy (Hispanic) that drives a Acura TL, older model. Anyway, I ran into him at the supermarket, his front right tire was flat. He was running like a 8 1/2 " low profile tire stretched onto a 10" wide wheel. The tire was on but looked like he just needed air. I wanted to help him, but I left my portable air compressor in my other car. I told him that he need to put the right size tire on, but each his own. A day later, I rain into him again, this time the tire was hanging off the rim, obvious he didn't learn from his recent experience. With that type of setup, you must use a air blaster to put enough air in to seat the bead. I think stretched tires are retarded. But that's my opinion. I would hate to see that setup on a AMG.

I have 275 in the rear now, used to have 285

The 285's made the car look like god damn tractor.

I'd go with staggered wheels OP they just look better on these cars. I don't know if you'd get the same effect with only tires, but if you do, make sure you post pics in the wheel thread

I run a 245/35-19 front and a 275/30-19 rear as my standard setup with aftermarket wheels on my E63. When you start getting into 285 or wider, you may have the roll the rear fenders, and I'm not willing to do that, since my car is lowered. a 275 tucks up nicely inside the fender well.

I do the reverse on all my cars by replacing the OEM sized tires with a step up in width and a corresponding step down in profile number to keep the diameter the same. The extra width gives very handy curb protection. I have SL55 wheels on my E55 which are 1/2 inch wider front and rear. I have 295s on the back though I did machine 9mm off the back face of the rears to bring the tires inside the fender and suit my preferred look.

Unfortunately this does not work with 19in wheels

I had 285 x 30 in the back, typically people run 275 x 30

I wanted to do 275 x 35... nope, can't. It won't fit.

If you weren't lowered, that 275/35_19 would most likely fit. My car had 275/30_20s on it when I bought it.

.....but then why upsize the wheels if you're going to upsize the tire as well, effectively making the wheel appear visually smaller?

20" wheels is pushing it in my book, as both the E55 or E63 are very heavy 4200+ lbs. cars, an a 20" wheel offers like no sidewall to absorb impacts from the road, typically resulting in bent wheels. On a typical 20" wheel you have a side aspect ratio of 25 or less, that is just like a rubber band wrapped around the wheel

...to be honest with you I only looked up what fit and doesn't and went with that, never actually tested it myself.

I appear to have rolled fenders (something I overlooked when buying the car) and it looks like i can fit even fatter tires...

Ive run 275/35 front 285/35 back on 18x9.5 rims all round. Since moved onto 275 on 19x9.5 all around, true square setup for rotatability. 9.5 is the recommended, reference rim width for 275 tires, see specs on tire rack.

Have also had 245/40 on 9.5 rims which stretches the tire as everyone pointed out. I would not do it with the thin sidewall of 245/30 and it is beyond the mfgs' max allowable rim width anyway.

BTW to maintain stock diameters it should be 243/35/19 and 275/30/19

well ended up passing on the set. cb was also off and just way too much work to get them to fit properly... I'm looking at some custom Work Emotions. I haven't see anyone run that on a w211. but I've always wanted a set.
