my new wheels

These are from AVUS wheels.
This is their website: www.avuswheels.com
The set I have is supposedly one of the first if not the first set in the United States.
I bought my wheels from Autowerks Direct (www.autowerksdirect.com). Once again a great place to work with. They accomodated me by reopening their place late at night so that they could install the wheels for me since it takes me a while to drive down to San Diego. I really wanted the wheels installed and didn't want to wait until the weekend. I'm impatient like that.
I liked these wheels because of the nice fat lip, the multispoke face, and the number of bolts used. I was thinking about HRE's at first, but everyone's got HRE's. And none of the HRE designs appealed to me as much. I also just wanted to be a little different.

Didn't like them in the first 2 pics. The lighting I guess. But the last pic I do. Very distinctive. A complicated design, but in a good way. I think you did real good, T-bone. I predict lots of compliments.

Thanks for the comments.
Since Autowerks accomodated me by doing this after hours it was already night time. It was hard to find a place with some lighting. I'll try and get some daytime shots this weekend.
The color of the face is actually a silverish color. Not as bright as the brilliant silver paint on Mercedes cars, but similar.
Gotta get some tire shine on those tires too.

Not 100% sure though. Gotta double check. I was too busy staring at the wheels when they were mounting them to remember. haha

Holy crap! Now those were the kinda pics I was looking for. Now it's totally obvious the great choice you made. I just said to the wife, come in here and check out T-bone's new wheels. Oh, those are VERY nice, she said. Trust me. When my wife puts her stamp of approval on how something looks, it's a sign of good taste.
