Are your OIL COOLER LINES leaking?? Here's the fix! ON SALE now :)

316L Stainless! "One Piece" O-ring to -10 AN adapter, ready for you to buy some fittings and replace your ready-to-fail (or currently failing) oil cooler lines.

https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mbw...702d5a398e.jpg

Couple quick sketches...

Just trying to figure out who might be interested. I'm also working on the other end (with the ball seat/nut) and it will also have a -10AN on it.

This will allow for fitting of all sorts of different oil coolers, easily having your own lines made with whatever style hose/fitting combos you want. It will be easy to replace individual lines and MUCH less expensive if you ever need to replace them.

Lemme know :)

Pricing will be $269 Shipped for the main 4 pieces, and $299 shipped for the remaining 2 pieces to do the cooler-to-cooler line.

Thanks

Dave

Really great innovation. I hope this is going in the r$ght direction for you and you continue to have the opportunity to develop the platform.

I didn't know I needed oil lines, but I like what you are doing.

MACEDON 06-15-2017 08:18 AM

Don't have any leaks... yet... keep us in mind over time

Besides the parts being expensive...The stock lines are a real hassle to actually replace. If you do it yourself, plan on spending at least a few hours. Expect a shop to charge the same. With the adapters, you will save a lot of time on the installation side. My goal is to have you able to buy ALL the parts - Adapters, Hose, Fittings, Clamps, everything, for around (hopefully less) than the lowest online price.

Thanks!

Dave

This looks like a great fix. I recently did it the hard way and it's expensive and tight, space wise. One thing I might add is mine began leaking due to my engine mounts being shot and the engine jumping under torque. If you guys get these oil leaks fixed and your mounts are shot, chances are you'll be at it again. Do the mounts as well. Just my opinion, but i have no doubt the shot mounts were the root cause for the oil leaks.

Oil Fitting Adapters for your M113k. The 4 Pc set will be $269 Shipped, and the 6 Pc set will be $299 Shipped. All Adapters will have the 100% factory connection on one side, and a -10AN on the other. This will allow you to easily replace your lines with VERY available and inexpensive AN hardware/hoses. Once you have these, you will need to supply the hose ends, and hose - that's it. It will save you time in install, and money on parts. If you ever have a leak for the rest of all time, you will only need to replace the hose portions, and even then only the specific one that is leaking. 4 pc set will be for the common double hose, and the 6 pc set will be for the connection between the coolers. Lead time is 4-5 weeks once we start. Who is in :)?!?!? Would like a few people to get it rollin'.

Thanks

Dave

Thanks Dave,

I took my pieces in to a seemingly reputable shop for tig welding, The proprietors claimed mig welding would work fine. I ended up with a lot of leaks.

Sealed them up with silver solder and brass in stubborn pin hole leaks. They are sealed but will eventually crack and cause more problems.

I cannot post photos in the PM section so I will post them here for the world to see and hopefully learn from my grief.

some of the photo is cropped off but there is around 12 mm clearance to the radiator

55 to 60 mm will work fine

Will pm availability and billing.

Cheers, Gator
Happy Fathers day folks

Bump These are 4 to 6 weeks out of production.

They are ready to build though. I ordered a set to keep my Benz reliable but fitment might cause a 10mm return. They are working to try. well see.

Count me in, what's timing on these?

MACEDON 07-31-2017 12:22 PM

So the idea is that we buy these fittings and then use whatever hose we choose?

What would you recommend? Are these parts you plan on keeping in stock? Hoping that the fuel pump assembly lid, and these fittings, will be available for a while, because when the time comes I'm hoping to not have to use stock parts for em.

Correct - Use whatever line you want. Prefab from a company like AN Plumbing, or build your own out of fittings and bulk hose from Amazon.

I should have a pile of them in a week or two, and I would like to make up a working model on a car that everyone can see, to get ideas of what it's gonna fit like, look like, etc.

I usually don't commit to have tons of stock on hand, mostly because my shop isn't really in the Mfg. business... just designing solutions for stuff I see, and making enough to be cost effective... If there is enough interest, I can make larger runs :)

The next round of lids should also be done pretty soon!

Thanks

Dave

OK FOLKS! Got em' in my hands and did testing today - Fitment is perfect, and they have a nearly identical "stick-out" from the filter housing. Seals with the factory o-ring. Installed and ran them on a car I'm parting out and its perfect!

Posted some pics to allow ya'll to see them in action.

Thanks,

Dave
