I'm running 19s on mine. I thought about going with 20s but didn't want to worry about bending wheels constantly on our crappy roads around here. I've already got at least one bent wheel right now from some construction on the freeway (it was unavoidable).

Is it going to sit there for you to look at and you are only going to drive to and from car shows on the highway is the real question? 20's look amazing but the ride sucks and you are going to bend rims, you can only run a 25 series on the rear without an issue
19s are very nice looking and almost fill the wheel well out just as much.
I run 255/35 up front and either 285/30 or 275/35 and it rides great... not worried about city driving or back country roads in SC. This is one thing that kept me from goin to 20s

Here are 3 different looks I have had since owning my car.
This is stock 18's
This is Verde Axis in 19's. 245/35/19 front w/ 19x8.5 et32(?) and 275/30/19 rear w/ 19x9.5 et36
This is my current incarnation. Vossen CVR-3's w/ Mich PSS's. 255/30/20 front w/ 20x9 et32 and 285/25/20 rear w/ 20/10.5 et42
Don't judge the vehicle height's with the 19's or 20's.... I'm always mess'n with them.
I love the 20's. By far the best look for me. Car drives very well, no complaints about harshness or being to stiff in any mode.

Check out www.carid.com. They'll show what offsets fit for sure and you can determine from there what will work. They'll also contact the manufacturer and get you info for fitment on wheels that they don't have confirmed.
I've bought a couple sets of wheels from them. 100% happy with the service.

We have put 19" and 20" wheels on these cars no problem like you see above with the 20" CV3's, so its up to your taste and what you like best. Here is a E class wagon with 19" to give you another view.

my car has 20's on it. running 245/30 R20 on the front and 285/25 R20 on the rear. can't tell you how it feels as i have not driven it yet! (only bought a week ago and still waiting for it to be delivered from the other side of the country) they look amazing, but i am worried about the ride as i live in a country area with roads that are not the best. have been considering going back to 19's so i can run a larger profile tyre.

I run 19's and they fill the wheel well nicely enough. I love the look of 20's but after an experience with a bent rear rim they are an ill-advised choice IMHO. I was running 285-30-19 on the rear when the bend happened. I cannot even remember hitting a pothole for that matter and avoid them like the plague as I am lowered on coils :-/ I chose to step up to a 35 series on the rear after the bend then mend. It rides real nice grips well also.
If you have bad roads I would probably advise against the 20s. You can always put them back on the market if you are unhappy FWIW

According to Fitment Industries, they say you have Offset of +30 to +38. I'm looking at some 19 x10's +35 for the rear, and 19 x 8.5 or 9's +35 for the front.

I have done several different sets and have come up with some pretty good specs.
Front
19x8.5
ET 28, I would go 24mm in the future
245/35/19
Rear
19x10
ET 36. perfect fitment
275/30/19
Currently I am on CLS500 wheels and extremely happy with the look.
Front
18X8.5
ET 25mm
245/40/18
Rear
18X9.5
ET 28mm
275/35/18

To make your decision even easier, consider the types of roads you drive on. If you have nice roads that never see snow or have potholes, you could go 20", but if your roads are crappy and potholes are a reality then stick with 18 or 19"

i swapped some very nice 20's that looked way better on my car with some 18's off a W212 E500 because i live in a rural area and the roads are shocking

Running 20" wheels on bad roads always leads to bent wheels. It's inevitable, as you have less sidewall to absorb the shock and bumps. That is why a 19" wheels is a good compromise.

I'm running on 20 inch VOSSEN CVT's - comparing to stock 18s that I had before that then ride comfort is gone. Now I'm having a quite stiff German workhorse.

i wrecked three tyres in about 12 months due to not noticing air pressure had dropped. hard to pick with such slim tyre walls and unfortunately i'm a bit lazy when it comes to keeping a check on them

I use Nitrogen in my tires instead of air on both of my vehicles. Air-filled tires lose from 1 to 2 psi per month as the air permeates through the tires.
Nitrogen is 74% more effective in maintaining proper tire pressure, due to its larger molecules that don't easily pass thru the tires rubber.

Great great look on the 20"'s.... may be long gone but I've got a 2009 W211 - and looking at going with a rear 285/25/20 +45... hoping that the offset isn't too tight...but that's only 3mm so thinking I should be good based on what I see you have...
