2004 E55 A/C Pulley Bearing replacement

Hey Guys,

I've searched all over the place but can't find the answers I need. The pulley bearing on the a/c compressor is completely wasted. I started it up the other night and thought the engine was blown. I removed all the belts the next morning after sh*tting my pants all night and verified that is my culprit. I temporarily installed a 930k6 belt so I can still drive the car while attempting to remove the pulley. Any harm in doing this while waiting for answers and parts to fix it permanently?

Where can I find the A/C pulley holder tool? W112 589 07 40 00 according to the Service Bulletin. I tried the rental tool from A-zone but it was too big. I'm also looking for the part number for just the bearing but the service bulletin (MB DTB S-B-83.55/87f ) doesn't show a bearing for the updated pulley.

Any other tricks to get this off the car without pulling the whole compressor? I thought I read somewhere as well that this 7mm bolt is held in with loctite and needs to be heated up for about 30-45 seconds before attempting removal. Now I can't find that article either.

Help!!!!!

I read that you can drive the car without a short belt somewhere you should be okay. No clue how to answer the rest sorry

Compressor is junk, order a new one. There is no bearing and pulley that are removable. These are variable displacement compressors. I dealt with it.

You can drive as long as you want on a short belt, I did it for 3-4 months.
