I found the cheapest way to increase supercharger whine

Went to eBay and bought some universal complete bolt on cone filters! Price for both was 41 dollars! The whine greatly amplifies as you go above 4K rpm! Sounds like a mustang cobra or CTS-V! Comes with little couplers that let you fit to size Fit in very nicely! This kit will fit a lot of different Mercedes! I no for a fact the kit will fit c32, s55,c55 and probabaly
More models!

Throttle acutely feels more crisp and progressive! It's a nice mod for better sound!

I doubt he is reason being is he's in Alaska it's freezing..

If you removed the stock filters in the box should not hurt gains but fixed pulley and the cones sitting to the covers will cause a rise in iat etc will at lights ..

Post a vid

yes the air up here is much colder and denser for sure. For instance today it's 60° and my car recovers very quickly. I definitely think this mod helped out because the throttle feels more Crisp. The noise is just insane. Sorry for the crappy video quality but here you go

Remove the weatherstripping around the hood and increase it for free...as well as the shield under the hood vents. I tracked mine and loved the sound, it also helped vent hot air out from the engine bay. It was nuts how much air came out with those parts removed

It doesn't matter what the ambient is

Your setup is sucking in about 180-210* air

You should log and see what's really happening
Btw many threads on these types of setups and nothing good came from those setups
Good luck

Will defintly get aluminum pipping which will help but how is this not sucking down hott air? http://ultimatepd.com/2003-2007-merc...boost-kit.html

All it did was raise the filter and it seems like it would suck the hott air around it!

Although those filters will most definitely get wet. If you go to a hand wash and you're using the pressure washer on the grill they will be soaked

In the mean time modify the stock inlet tubes to feed air to the filters.
