Gotta leave room for my golf clubs though. :)

Testa, nice job!

JamE55 Apr 21, 2004 09:58 AM

Nice pics! But where's the pic of the rear wheel setup? What's the lip size on the rear? Also i'm assuming those are 19x9F and 19x10R's? What kind of sound system is that?

Ho lun jang ah! Nicely done :y

Water34, Tezta has never stopped talking about your car ever since we saw it in HV one night........good to see you here;)

I love those wheels and I'd suggested Jon to get them for his but they're a real pain in the a$$ to get here....especially since the Euro sky rocketed....no body wants to stock them:wall:

If you think yours are hard to clean, you should try cleaning mine:D Hope to see you on the roads again dude!:zoom:

Nice! someone who actually did a sound system...ill be doin mine as well. Planning on MB Q's or dyns inside, and i have a pair of velodyne subs that have been sitting brand new in box just waiting for my next car... (as far as i know, i had 2 of the last shipment of 10" velos made for car audio)...

Just ouf of curiousity, did you rebuild your rear deck? or just modify it? Im guessing there is a custom grill on the other side of that.... Im planning on doing similar set up, but with the 2 10's freair setup mounted on the rear deck, then amps against the wall like you do.

Congrats !

That is jus plain ol NASTY FINE!~!~! I'M SOOOO JEALOUS!~!

Vic55 Apr 21, 2004 07:54 PM

Those are great wheels, had them on my M5- 19x9 and 19x10's with the super lip. Light and strong- looks sweet!!

water34 Apr 21, 2004 09:27 PM

Thanks everyone for the positive remarks on my car!! haha

The Wheels are 8.5x19 and 9.5x19 in the rear....I'll take some pics of the rear wheel setup today...maybe Tezta can be kind enough to post them for me again....

These wheels are quite hard to get in H.K, It took me 4 months to get them...but this was right after I placed the order for the car so I actually go the wheels before I got the car!! hahaha

ThemisN, I did not rebuild the old deck but modified the housing for the Logic 7 subwoofer to house the AVI one.......From inside the car it looks 100 percent stock...thats the way I like it! But I'm thinking to the Kleemann carbon interior kit for my car.....hum...

I have AVI speakers all around with 1 STEG amp driving the front components. 1 Audison amp driving the rear components and another Audison amp bridged to drive the Sub.....
Only the one centre speaker in front from the logic 7 is retained..

I was recently told at least 6 months for the bright silver version and they'd cost almost 60% more than they would have cost a few months ago:wall:

Damn that's the hotness!!! I commend your superb taste in wheels.

ThemisN Apr 22, 2004 12:10 AM

One quick question then.. did you use a line level converter after the stock amp, or is there an adapter to use to remove the stock amp completely from the process? My guess is im gonna have to do a soundgate LLC after the stock amp...

The orginal amp or control module so to speak is retained....I use a Audio Control EQL as the EQ line converter.....
That is always the problem with ICE setup in the E55....on the one hand it is good that the car is designed on a full optic system....but the down side is that things are pretty much fixed..and after market additions are difficult......
