A g60 mk1 project I drove was scary enough with about 200whp/ 200wtq... I could not even fathom what 500whp/550wtq rwd would feel like in a stripped out sub~2000lb chassis
You would have to get a dispenser for adult diapers and place it in an easily accessible place for easy under pants changes... A waiver and release of liability would be required to sign by any passenger as well lol

My fathers 1972 MG midget. (May require some supporting mods)
And my wifes Nissan Note. (I admit the driveline will be a challenge)
I would also compromise for a 2.0L turbo in either.

Listen I love the engine in our E55, but if I am swapping engines, I'm not using an expensive hand built German one.
I'd use the current small block Chevy. Light, easy to repair, incredible power, cheap to mod.
Right tool for the right project.

I get that, and the SB and LS engine are great motors... but the thread was putting a M113 into various stuff
And sometimes is not about the economics of it, aka why would I buy a 550hp AMG SUV ? lol Cause I've worked my butt off for the last 35 yrs, put the kids thru college and it's time to enjoy myself
I just wish I was still in good enough shape to go road racing again!!
