Hi guys, I own a Mercedes E55 AMG yearmodel 2003,

I got the Audio 50 headunit with GPS and the Harman Kardon speakers. Is there anyway for me to be able to install a aux input?

I searched the web and found someone mentioning that swapping into a NTG1 Command unit would make it possible to install AUX, but I cant find any aux rebuild kits for the NTG1 command. Help me out guys.....

you need to swap it out to a command navi head unit (they are plug and play) and then buy Mercedes part # 211 540 99 10, which is the aux cord for that unit. I did this in my 03 (03s didn't have nav as an option)

The nav won't work (you can make it work if you also put in the rear dvd unit and wiring), but the screen is larger, looks nicer, and you will then have the aux input
