Tire diameters and ASR

Can anyone tell me the allowable diameter difference in tires front to rear without upsetting the ASR? Interesting the steering gets heavier and the AC stops working properly when the ASR light goes on with the warning to drive to the dealer. I can reset easy enough but it does not like my new rear 305x40R18 Nittos.

I have SL55 wheels which are wider also on my E55. The issue would apply to both cars.

I have the stock SL55 255x40R18. The diameters are rear 70.12 cm and the current fronts are 66.12 so rear is 6% bigger. I have ordered 275x40R18 which are 67.72cm or rears 3.5% bigger. It is this % difference which I need to know the ASR will permit. Cheers.
