Cluster Swap HELP!
I swapped my cluster out for a used one from a 09 e63 to my 07 e63 wagon. Was able to have everything work but mileage shows dashes I made sure to get a lower mileage dash so that I can raise the mileage to my current odometer. What are the steps in STARS to add/change mileage? Or is this a dealership only option?
Dont mind the refill warning.

The new IC can only have less than 1000 km on it to be paired with a new car. In order to pair this one, you'll need to virginise the EEPROM of the cluster, and this cannot be done with DAS, or the dealer. To do this, you must deaolder the EEPROM chip, modify it's contents to virginise it, then reinstall it, and then with DAS you can pair up the now virgin cluster to your car
When I did this however, I simply swapped the original clusters motherboard to the e63 cluster, and then ,(again via EEPROM editing), modified the interpolation tables for the Speedo and tachometer. This was easier than trying to figure out how to virginise the cluster.
