12mm - 14mm Wheel Stud Conversion
Does anyone make a wheel stud conversion kit that has 12mm threads on the hub side but 14mm threads on the wheel side? All of the kits I can find are the other way around. I want to put 14mm wheels on a car that uses 12mm lugs.
FWIW, I'm trying to fit my spare set of W211 E55 wheels to my W208 CLK55. Any suggestions?

Looks like the key was to search for "hybrid lug bolt". I found these, which are not studs but should work once I figure out what length I need:

i see... from that information and what i gather, there are no solutions for this issue besides full custom. honesty not worth it.

So what's the verdict? I'm totally lost in this thread. I have the same issue -- but it's on a W203 that I want to put stock W204 wheels. Everything lines up just the lugs are 12mm vs. 14mm holes of the new wheels.
If I'm reading this right -- utilize the "hybrid" bolts? So did you try them yet? How did it work out? Any tips?
Grateful for any help.

I got a set of the "hybrid" bolts from Otis LA. I did a full writeup here: How to put W211 E55 Wheels on your W208 CLK.
I've been driving on them all summer, and I even use the same bolts on the Hoosier drag radials at the track with no problems.

So glad I found this...but I am making sure before I purchase anything. I have a c230K Coupe with 12mm bolts and most of the other MB wheels I am finding for sale have 14mm. Judging by your post, with these bolts it should no longer be an issue? Looked at your website too, but again, I am juuuuusssstttttt making sure.

Yup, those are the ones. Just make sure the length is correct for whatever wheels you get, especially if you use spacers.

Sweet! Thank you. This whole time I assumed that the 12mm was the diameter of the actual threaded stud when its actually the diameter of the seat head itself.

On a regular bolt it's both; 12mm means 12mm diameter stud and 12mm radius ball seat. Same for the 14mm.
The hybrid bolts have a 12mm dia stud with 14mm radius ball seats.
