E55 Won't Shift at WOT
At wide open throttle, my E55 decided not to shift once it hits 5k. It wasn't slipping into neutral when this happened, rather it just held the RPMs right at 5k and would not shift to the next gear even if I manually told it to. There were no CEL or other warning lights when it did this. The car drives and shifts normally as long as I don't punch it. I can give it moderate throttle, easing into it, and it will shift.
Is this a symptom of needing a new conductor plate?
The only other thing I noticed was the aftermarket intake (OEM is en route) had visibly tried to disconnect itself. Going to tighten that back down and try again tomorrow. Anything else to look for?

Updating this post for those who may come across it later. I swapped in a new conductor plate (part # 1402701161) and the issue seems to be resolved. My TCU did have oil on it so I am not certain as to whether this is a permanent fix or if it coincidentally worked itself out. Regardless, check your TCU for oil and replace the leaky plug on the transmission. Repair kits can be found here: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/cop...on-service-kit

I find these transmissions seem to have a mind of their own even in perfect health. If I floor it even once on a trip it wants to hold revs for the rest of the journey no matter what. Glad you got it sorted, maybe send your TCU away for cleaning.
