2009 E63 M156 - Piston Rings, Crankshaft bearings parts discountinued help!

I had an engine failure, trying to replace the piston rings (part 1560300024) but apparently part is discountinued, also having a hard time finding the cranshaft bearing (my crankshaft uses 156033070254 and 156033140154), all these parts are either discountinued or backordered with no ETA.

Does anybody has any suggestions for replacements?, aftermarket parts or maybe alternative part numbers I can use for my M156?

Any help will be much appreciated!

Strange. I can add the parts to my cart and see them on the checkout screen.

Yeah, I tried too, called and they are discontinued.

Ask some reputable engine builders ,I’m sure those bearings are available

Wait, so are these parts exclusive to the W211 E63 or are all M156 parts being discontinued?

Piston rings and bearings for the M156 are being discontinued by MB, they now want you to buy new rods and pistons, and probably a new crankshaft while you're at it.

i was able to get all the bearings and piston rings from DIME RACING, great CS.

There are updated parts that supercede those old part numbers. You just need to go to dealer parts counter for help. They routinely rebuild those M156 motors and have parts readily available.

I called several dealers, there are no new new parts, you now need to buy the whole piston and rods.

Dick move by MB... :(

Oh yes, I think i remember hearing there were revisions made to the piston rings and they were being sold pre-installed/loaded on the pistons. That really sucks because people are forced to replace pistons and rods that there is probably nothing wrong with, what a waste..

Ouch.....MB are being very harsh here.
