By far the worst project I’ve ever had done. It took a whopping 8 hours to install. Transferring the parts isn’t as easy as it seems. And it requires a lot of patience. Which I gladly had. (Somewhat). If you ever need help installing the bumper PM me I won’t waste my time on people who don’t even have the bumper to install so don’t PM me if not. And f you to all those who just show off your bumper and not offer support 😂 But regardless I’ll upload pics later!

Messaged a bit of people never got a response, not here to start commotion lol. I told them I’d find them and kill them if I didn’t receive their help. No but seriously it doesn’t matter some people don’t have the time for others. 👍🏼😁

I am sure if you made a thread with concise articulate questions that you couldn't find an answer for in any of the previous threads on the subject then you would have got the help you needed.
People like to see that you have the parts, have searched fully, have questions that haven't been answered hundreds of times before, have made a start on the project and have thought about what you are trying to do. A PM here and there might not do it. On the other hand you would be welcome to do a writeup for the next guy.

That depends on who you ask... Based on the individual skill level, I myself am a collision/mechanical repair technician, so I would have a different answer than the next person... also depends on if your car is equipped with parking sensors. I have installed both the suvneer and the OEM E63 bumper on my E55 both were of good quality but of course the original hasbetter build quality in terms of materials. As far as help goes on this forums I’ve experienced lots of good help for people but I also exhaust all search efforts before hand and usually find what I need. I’m also for helping others that need help but I will point out if someone did not put the effort to do a proper search first.

old thread but did you do a write-up by chance or can provide pointers. I have my new bumper; will get painted, then transfer the parking and distronic sensors over. thanks!
