Eurocharged tune question

Can I reset a Eurocharged ECU tune back to stock but still keep the TCU tune? They were sent as one file. Just bought the car so sorry if a noob question.

You need the stock file from previous owner. Or ask Jerry maybe he can revert it

I have the stock file. What I mean is what do I have to do to leave the TCU tune intact when resetting to stock. Since the ECU and TCU tune are both in the same file wouldn’t resetting to stock reset both of them? Also would the TCU also need to be reflashed if I’m adding more mods (crank pulley, looped fuel rail, 550cc injectors)?

TCU TUNE is completely desperate to my knowledge sir. You are required to ship out the TCU to get it tuned so it shouldn’t affect it.

I see. I was told by the previous owner that they were both in the same file. I just followed up with him and he forwarded me the email from Eurocharged where they said the TCU points were set in the file too. He never sent in his physical TCU.

No I was told that after I bought the car I wouldn’t receive any support from them as I didn’t purchase the tune.

The previous owner. I guess it’s worth a shot to ask him.

don’t listen to that fool, lol. Jerry would always offer support, I’m a fanboy of his work 😂 I believe there’s a $30 retune fee

why do you want less horsepower/torque

They don't support the new owners, only the original customer, 1st hand experience.

If he wants the tune back to normal (not sure why he doesn’t tell us) you can just paid the tune fee if you’re right. Why doesn’t OP wait till he does mods

Sorry I didn’t see that you had asked. I’m putting in some new mods that will require further tuning and I’ve decided to go with a local tuner for that. I have the stock file so I am able to revert the ECU back to stock with the euroflash software. All I was asking is if there is a way to do that while still leaving the TCU tune intact if it’s not necessary to remove, as I was told both tunes are in the same file from the previous owner, and the email I’ve posted from eurocharged seems to support that.

Local tuner what’s the company name? Are the well known. I highly advise go with a company who knows this platform best. E55’s aren’t cars you would have a unknown tuner to work on.

Eurocharged who I personally think is one of the best for this platform can modify tunes for any modifications. Got myself a custom burble tune and love it.
