Has anyone tried this? Skid plates?

I wanted to replace my covers under the car since one of them dragged on the ground. And tore a hole in the bottom.

Has anyone bought this before and hows the fitment?

Isnt the oem skidplate under the engine already made of metal? My plate is made of thick metal, the one under the gearbox is plastic (E55)

On the 07-09 E63, the belly pans are made out of FRP, which is fiberglass re-inforced plastic or graphite. But definitely not metal.
And as far as these metal skid plates go, I don't see the NACA ducts directing cool air to the engine mounts. I only see reversed NACA the directs air away.
