Did the install on my back, not too bad. Took some time to figure how to jam the driver side header in but eventually satisfied when it locked on and bolted down. Didn't have to push engine aside like "legitstreetcar", the rest of the pipes were not too bad neither. I worked from back to front, used a rubber hammer for alignment and adjustment, clamped, extended rear O2 sensors and popped them on spacers. No CEL!!! Didn't have to turn off O2.
Post some pics! I'd like to see the 02 sensor wire extensions as well. Did you use the stock clamps the kit provided? Lastly, are you running a stock tune with the headers and exhaust?

Gonna take my beast to my muffler guy for him to check my install and will take some photos cause wanna make sure those stock clamps provided are good enough.
I got a retuned from Tony at RaceIQ for the LTH, actually I was runny the updated tune without headers install; you can feel and hear major power difference once SCC LTH install.
As for O2 sensors extension, I got both spacers from my muffler guy for $50. He gave me two wire set from an old sensor and I cut and solder them to extend, electro taped and plugged em in.

Christmas came early!!!!

haters crazy
Some people will buy the cheapest thing available even with questionable business practices. Others are willing to pay a premium for a quality product and good customer service. This holds true for most products even outside of the automotive space.

the major difficulty i ran into when installing is the driver side headers, took off the steering column to slide it in was minimal, turning it to align with studs/bolts was the most difficult to figure out. Try pushing the motor to the side on your back was hard, so I got on side of car up top using pry bar to close up the header and it worked perfectly. Installing rest of the pipes were a bit challenging if you don’t know how to, but if you start from the back clamping down the two rear clamps connecting to resonator will make it a lot easier. When installing flex pipes, I jacked up the pipes and both parts slid in with some elbow grease. Passenger side flex pipe had a gap (like legitstreetcar video), I closed it up by using a rubber hammer to slide pipe down...clamped and the rest equal Big GRINN during test drive. I used the clamps that came with it and had two different mechanic shops check for leak and got two 👍.

Got a CEL for O2, ECU picked it up, gonna fool it again before I shut em down. My O2 sensors is a least 10 years old, might change them out first. Car running just fine with no idle issue.

Yessssh G_Money, this is the best mod I have to say that I've installed/spent for the money! You can definitely feel/hear the difference and enjoy the $h1t out of your ride!

Like most long tube headers when installed, the ECU will throw a CEL for O2 sensor unless you either shut sensors off or try to trick ECU with O2 spacers; this is true for most "reputable" ones as well, so no matter how much you spend on your "reputable" LTH, you gonna get the same result (not sure if high flow cats makes a different on throwing CEL???).
I have no more CEL using spacers, so lucky! Well worth it! Will update as needed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The welds look like bird poop and the stainless steel looks about as thin as a zheet of paper. I'd hate to see what the actual exhaust ports look like... But yeah definitely exactly thr same as MBH... lol they aren't even the same style .

You got me at "bird poop" and convinced me to go get the reputable LTH! Gee let's see, $2100 on MPH, plus $450 on ceramic coating, $950 on stealership install (you don't want DIY or indy shop to touch the holy grail of LTH). Hopefully for the extra money I won't get a CEL for sensors. Oh, and BUT dyno gonna feel a major difference too (in my back pocket).
Thanks G!

The welds do look like bird poop. That's irrefutable. And if you don't know how to make headers not throw a CEL you have more problems than slave-made Ebay exausts.

Oh, and not to mention giving your money to support Chinese Communists for stealing designs from American or German companies? Real nice.

WOW G_Monkey,
Thanks so much for your comments, due to your intellectual posts I have no CEL thrown, Check image below! You are amazing, I can really tell from reading your posts that you are the MAN, a righteous one no less! So caring for the global fairness and all, you should be commended! Good for you for being on top of world awareness! And here I am just thinking you just a "bird poop". But again, thanks to you my Super Cheap Stolen Chinese LTH is running fine and making as much power as the reputable ones even though it looks like "bird poop" but cost a fraction less! Good thing LTH isn't part of my hood ornament, "bird poop" and all!

Shame on me for buying stolen goods! SHAME SHAME! So naïve or stupid if you think the ChiCom is the only nation that is stealing from other nations! At least the Chinese got the ***** to steal up front unlike most of our (U.S) allies; they are doing it behind our back and lies to our faces!

p.s. sorry for any typo, spell check not working.....¯\_(ツ)_/¯

NO CEL, Christmas came early!!!

So as requested, here's a photo of my spacer I rigged up, got under car this morning to tighten up the clamps. ECU thrown CEL but it's been cleared up for four days now. Crossing fingers it stay that way or I'm gonna shut O2 sensors down. Wanna salvage what I can in case of emission check in 2020.
How's your mod coming along? I'm done with mine for the most part...

Yes thanks! I’ve been lucky with CEL, recently installed 82mm tb no P0505, just popped on colder plugs this morning and my Beast idle like a sleeping Chinese Dragon. Speaking of which, will let ya know if my SCSC LTH cracks in 3 months. 😅

But for now, I’m DUN with my mods and gonna gun it up n down PCH! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

That stamp is worth $$$$$.. I visited the shop while their master craftsman was building a set for an SL55. It is really the development/design and the superior quality of the materials used you are paying for. It's like comparing a knock off Payless running shoe to a Nike. Metallurgy is the key. You never know where Chinese source their material from. Lastly, MBH headers install without any hassles for SL55's. I don't know of any other long tube brand that did not have to be banged up (header and/or chassis) or modified to fit the R230 chassis with ZERO issues. Truly plug and play. Because of this, they will probably never crack. Lastly, they offer a lifetime warranty against defects. I'll find out soon when I get my set this summer.
